H is for Have you Heard of?

While there are several amazing photographers (and photographer friends of mine) one you need to know is Tim Wheaton Photography.

Tim Wheaton is a photographer that is able to bring a special and different eye to your shoot - whatever kind it may be.  He has done everything from Fashion and Senior Portraits to Wedding and Trash the Dress shoots.  I don't know about you, but my senior pictures involved the classic marbled background and a hideous cap and gown.  Blah.  I would have loved something unique and out of the box.

Tim is based in Southern California but travels near and far.  Even better, he does specials for those of you not lucky enough to be in California so he can come to your own backyard!

The girl in the picture below is my gorgeous BFF Jessica...ummm, stunning.

Belly pics never looked so good.
I need to remember this look of just a belly and jewelry for my VERY future bump.

I have never seen a girl in a wedding dress in a skateboard bowl.  She looks pretty ecstatic.

Now, if you want the "Classic California" feel...you can always come to Tim too.

So if you did not know about Tim Wheaton Photography before, now you do.

You're Welcome.

G is for Gold & Gray

I think it is pretty clear that I love jewelry.
(insert sarcastic shocked face here)

Who knew though that instagram would actually be a great way for me to discover new lines that I would drool over?

That is exactly how I discovered Gold & Gray.

Each piece is handmade in Los Angeles using semi-precious and precious stones.  I love the way the owner Lily piles on her necklaces and bracelets - a girl after my own heart - and describes her line as having the ability to go from day to night.

Hurry and grab a piece (or five) for yourself HERE.

D is for Dog Toys

Since D is also for Dorothy Mantooth, I thought I would share Dorothy's favorite toys.

Good Karma Rope Toys were invented by Jax and Bones.

Not only are these toys adorable - almost too adorable to let my fur baby destroy - they also give back.  Jax and Bones donate a portion of each sale to www.therescuetrain.org.  So when you are looking at that $16 dollar price tag know two things:

1. These toys last forever - Dorothy has had a few for years - that rarely happens.
2.  You are helping another animal with your purchase.

C is for Clutch

With the extra long days of Summer, I tend to spend more evenings out with friends enjoying the long days.  I also find Summer has me feeling the need to be more "carefree" and not wanting to drag my big bag with all of my daily necessities out at night.

My solution to that problem...the perfect clutch.

B is for Bows

While Paula may be more of the "bow aficionado" than I am (check out the end of this post), lately I have been drawn to the increasing number of bows perched perfectly at the nape of a womans neck.

It is really amazing what a difference moving the bow up from ones behind - hello 80's wedding or prom dress - can really do for a girl!

Meanwhile, look at the gorgeous Vera Wang bow that Paula wore on her wedding day!

Perfectly Paula.

A is for Avalon

There is something about the classic Hermes Avalon blanket that just makes any room that much better.

Now for the real question...

Does anyone except for Carrie Bradshaw actually use their blanket?
