It is still not quite cool enough in Southern California to really have a fall moment, but I needed to bust out my boots. This was the perfect outfit to meet up with my girlfriend for happy hour. Its feminine yet it makes me feel like a bit of a boho - bad girl.  Perfect for drinks and a lot of gossip!

G is for Gold & Gray

I think it is pretty clear that I love jewelry.

(insert sarcastic shocked face here)

Who knew though that instagram would actually be a great way for me to discover new lines that I would drool over?

That is exactly how I discovered Gold & Gray. 

Each piece is handmade in Los Angeles using semi-precious and precious stones.  I love the way the owner Lily piles on her necklaces and bracelets - a girl after my own heart - and describes her line as having the ability to go from day to night.

Do you ever stumble across something that you did not realize was missing in your life?

That is how I felt when I found St. Eve Jewelry.

I am personally drawn to her gorgeous necklaces.  They are the perfect way to add that boho glam vibe that I have been looking for, not to mention an amazing layering piece at an affordable price.

I only have number four (at the moment) - the Short Horn Ivory Tribal Necklace - that I have been wearing with everything.

Jewelry Storage Solved!

As an admitted "Jewelry Junkie," I am always struggling to find a way to store my jewelry.

A few problems besides quantity:

1. I need to have easy access to all of it.

2.  I tend to like jewelry that is a bit on the LARGER side.

3.  I like to keep the boxes of the nicer pieces that I have.

I finally decided to tackle this problem without having to go the custom route, which is the only thing I ever see on Pinterest.

My ideas were some clean hooks from Target and an old school 

(or three) cd towers from Ikea.

With a little muscle from my hubby...

I now have this wall of happiness.

I can now see everything I own.  Something I never thought was possible.

This set up also now takes up less space surprisingly because the cd towers are so narrow which is actually perfect for jewelry!  Nothing can ever get lost in the back of a shelf.
