Who doesn't love magazines?! Beautiful photos, current topics, and (if you're like me) pages that can be torn out and saved for inspiration or product research on another day.
In the last couple of weeks May issues have arrived in the mail and hit the newsstands. If you haven't seen the striking white cover of Fast Company with Jenna Lyons, you should track it down (or read the article here). She's brilliant.
The ten page article (photos included, of course) tells the story of her rise within J.Crew and the collaborative working relationship she has with CEO, Mickey Drexler. A partnership that has turned J.Crew into, "a company of constant and freewheeling experimentation, iteration, and adaptation," writes Danielle Sacks.
Jenna's story inspires both the designer and the business person in me...it also makes me want to go shopping!
