Bugging Out

I know, I know...there is nothing particularly fashionable or exciting about bug spray...until you discover one that smells a little like bananas (instead of that typical bug spray smell that we all know and hate) and actually works!

We're having a muggy, buggy start to summer here in Charleston thanks to a mild winter and a very wet June.  I happen to be one of the lucky souls who smells particularly enticing to mosquitos.  Example:  I take Otto for a 20 minute walk, forgetting to apply bug spray, and come home with 5 new bites.  I've read that it has something to do with the composition of my blood...lucky me.

Well, while in Barbados last summer with Tim I discovered Natrapel.  Trust me, this stuff is great!  It  works well and it really does smell kind of like bananas.

And...my most recent discovery...Natrapel Wipes!  Yes, little individually wrapped bug spray wipes.  It's brilliant!  You can carry them in your purse or your pocket or your car.  I've used them twice in the last few weeks just to fend off the stray mosquito while dining outside.  Genius!
